On Saturday Mr Pecky, my Dad and I went to town to get some coal as the coal bunker was empty. The week-end is the only time we can do this. I had to keep Mr. Pecky safe in my pocket in case he got dirty.
On Sunday we had an early start as we were heading to Dublin to see the Rugby Match in the Aviva Stadium. Mr. Pecky and I were very excited as it was the first time for both of us to go to the Aviva. On the way we had to stop off at my Aunt’s house to collect the match tickets. We had only three tickets so we had to sneak Mr. Pecky in in my pocket.
We had great seats at the Aviva, we were quite high up and we had a great view of the match. You could say that Mr. Pecky had a bird’s eye view!
At the match we were given free flags to cheer on Ireland during the game, my dad bought me an ear piece which I could use to hear the referee during the game. This was great as we knew exactly what was happening each time the referee blew his whistle.
I loved having Mr. Pecky to share my adventurous weekend with.
