St Brigid's Day falls this Sunday on the first day of Spring. We learned all about St Brigid and we were amazed how God helped her cloak to grow and grow. She really showed that King of Leinster! Afterwards we sang a special song to Brigid and made these lovely crosses.
Today was a beautiful winter's day so we decided to go for a little walk in the Fair Green. We noticed that most of the tress are now bare and all of the leaves on the ground are brown. However, we did find some trees and plants that are still green, such as Ivy and Holly and called them evergreens.
Some children were so observant that they even found worms! EEW!!
We are very busy in the Post Office this month. All of our class have been writing letters and cards and posting them to our friends. We have made stamps and post boxes, delivered dotted envelopes to the correct post box and loads more...
