This week we are learning all about the -ee sound. We found a cool website that shows lots of funny poems to help us with our vowel sounds!

Fun with 2D shapes

We learned alot about the different types of 2D shapes around us (circles, triangles, squares, rectangles, and semi-circles). We learned lots of songs to help us remember all about these shapes. We constructed our own versions of these shapes using lollipop sticks, paper cut outs and even our own bodies! We were so interested to learn that these 2D shapes are actually all around us! We had great fun going on a 2D shape hunt at school, and at home. Check out some of our pictures to see what we got up to!

We had a great time last Monday when we went to Cusack Park to see the CBS football team win the division 1, Clare schools football final. It was a great match and we are very proud of our school team.  We LOVE that the CBS wear the same colours as Clare!

Go on the CBS !!!!!

We have been having lots of fun learning about tens and units this week. We used lollipop sticks and blocks to  make bundles of tens and individual units. Here is a fun game we found to help our learning.
